Final days, final tickets
With just four days remaining to enjoy the food and drink festival that is Tasting Australia, we wanted to highlight a few of the last-minute ticket opportunities you won’t want to miss.
Scoffed Teenage Food Saucerers
Teach your teens the art and fun of firing up the family barbecue, creating a fine dining Italian dish or getting crafty with an Adriano Zumbo-inspired dessert with the Scoffed Cooking School. This Saturday, LOBO Cider are giving you the chance to rendezvous in the Stafford Orchard in Lenswood. The LOBO team and orchard farmers will join you to feast on a lunch from their neighbour, acclaimed chef - Shannon Fleming (of Forgotten Seasons).
It is also Pink Lady harvest time, perfect to devour a lunch matched to the local ciders and spirits, and featuring cider-washed cheeses made in partnership with Section 28.
Let’s party in an orchard!
Dinner in the Dark
Enter a world where your notion of taste and smell are tested...for a good cause. National Wine Centre's executive chef Steven Clarke creates a mystery four-course menu combining innovative textures and flavours that seek to ignite the senses. Each table is hosted by a local winemaker, expertly pairing their unique wine to each course and guiding guests through the blindfolded dining experience. Plus $50 from each ticket will be directly donated to Can:Do 4Kids.
